Nikki Haley is lying (PART 2), She wants to raise the Social Security FRA!

Let's ask Nikki one important question!

Instead of raising the full retirement age why not raise the wage base limit from $160,200?

Raise the wage base to $300,000, $500,000 or more. Why can't the Biden Administration get some professionals together to determine a new wage base that keeps SSA afloat beyond 2050 or 2075. That's easy to accomplish.

Can someone ask Nikki why she wants to enslave the American people to a lifetime of working and then possibly dying before they can collect their full SS retirement(RIB) benefits? I've seen studies where smokers save SSA millions of dollars because some of them die before they qualify. Is raising the FRA another scheme to have more people die before they can collect their full benefits? It sure sounds like a scheme to me especially when there is a simple solution. Raise the wage base limit!!

The full retirement age is already 67 if you were born in 1960 or later! Does Nikki want to make our full retirement age 70, 75 or 80? The Republican candidate didn’t say what age full retirement age should be.

Whenever they raise the FRA it also reduces your benefits if you take payments before your FRA. They rarely tell you that part of the equation!

Raising the full retirement age is a controversial subject, as some critics label it a benefit cut. Individuals who can’t change the age they need to retire will get less in benefits from the adjustment, as will people who decide to delay their retirement age, argued Alicia Munnell, director of the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. “Currently, those claiming at age 62 receive only 70% of the benefit available at 67,” she wrote in a MarketWatch column. “If the full retirement age were increased to age 70, that amount falls to 55%.”

Let me remind you that it used to be 80% at 62. We've already lost 10% from a previous change! Does Nikki and her ilk want us to go from 80% at 62 just a few short years ago to 55% at 62? Wow!

Your Social Security benefits are based on your 35 highest-earning years of employment.

Don't let them raise the FRA under any circumstance!! We need to protest like the French citizens! I hope to see millions of people in the streets of DC should they try to implement their SSA enslavement-death scheme. The average life expectancy for men in the USA is 78 and it is expected to drop because of Covid-19!!

Is it a stretch to think that their "entity of excitement" was released for multiple purposes including reducing the number of SSA beneficiaries? After all, it mainly affected the elderly.

Don't forget that even if you take your RIB early, you can still work and receive your SS benefits as long as you don't exceed $21,240.00 in 2023. Once you hit your FRA... there is no limit on your earnings!

One final point: Inflation is already destroying the purchasing power of benefits that have not been claimed. That's one reason I won't be waiting past 62 to file regardless of what the so-called experts recommend.
